About this event

Join us on Saturday, September 10th from 11 AM to 4 PM at Plants Alive! as we celebrate an amazing season of growing plants! There will be a variety of local artisanal vendors as well as several popular plant vendors including but not limited to: Ecuagenera, Stripped Stems, Live to Die Tropicals, Cindy’s Houseplants and Cultivate the City. Make sure to have your wishlist ready because there will be some very unique plants available to take home!

In addition to vendors, we will also have music (Ozker), food (Source Roti and Bakery), drinks (Heather Marie), and games available. We will also be hosting a silent auction with proceeds going to jumpstart the new campus farm at Gallaudet University. Attendance is free, but there may be costs associated with different activities. Here is a tentative schedule of activities:

11 AM- Vendors will be setup and doors open! Silent Auction opens

11:15 AM- Garden Tour

12-12:30 PM- Cocktail and Mocktail Mixology Workshop with Heather Marie

1 PM – Indoor and Container Gardening Class

2 PM- Carnivorous Plant and DIY Bog Garden Workshop

3 PM- Garden Tour

4 PM – Silent Auction closes and winners will be announced.
