This glamorous engagement shoot comes from Ariel Moriah Photography and was shot at two elegant locations – The Jefferson Hotel in DC and the National Gallery of Art. The couple, Clarissa and Victoria, chose black and white clothing, including a stunning, black ruffled gown, for this artistic photo session.

The National Gallery of Art is a popular location for engagement photos. It was designed by John Russell Pope, who also designed the Thomas Jefferson Memorial.

Black and white outfits are perfect for creating a dramatic look against the grand neoclassical style of the Gallery.

The Jefferson Hotel in Dowtown DC offers a number of private spaces for weddings and other events. The book room is available for intimate events with up to 30 guests.

Built in the 1920’s in the Beaux-Arts fashion, the Hotel was home to many dignitaries of the time. It was renovated in 2009, but maintains its historic style.

The Hotel’s dramatic black and white floor is a great backdrop for Clarissa’s stunning ruffled dress.

The Hotel’s largest event space, the Greenhouse, features this glamorous black and white floor and can seat up 82.

We get lots of glamorous, vintage vibes from this photo!
