Swan Point is a small, outdoor-only venue that offers lovely water views. With a maximum capacity of 50 guests, the venue is ideal for a micro-wedding, such as the one styled here by Picnic & Unwind in collaboration with a group of local wedding vendors. Beginning with a ceremony spot overlooking the Occoquan River, the shoot progresses to portraits with a Rolls Royce, then to a luxury picnic from Picnic & Unwind, and finally to mocktails with friend-ors and bloggers. Photographs are courtesy of 3 different photographers, whose gallery highlights follow.

The models for the shoot are a real couple. The ceremony spot, decorated with silk flowers by the venue owner, overlooks the Occoquan River.

A 1985 Rolls Royce Silver Spur, courtesy of Rolls Wedding Limos, provided inspiration for a fun and unique portrait session.

El Board Sweet and Savory provided traditional charcuterie as well as some of its popular cone arrangements. You can read more about El Board in Nova Wedding Style’s El Board profile.

Guests enjoyed hors devours prepared by personal chef Glenn Childs.

Lillian Nathalie Cake provided a variety of cookies and pastries, as well as three cakes. The largest of the three, seen below, was intricately decorated with flower designs and shades of cream and pale pink.

Finally, there was time for mocktails and selfies with local food bloggers DMV Foodie Guinea Piggies, lifestyle blogger The Carly Chic, digital creator Candice Lauren, and professional organizer Sort Toss Repeat.

At Swan Point, couples have access to a waterfront garden and dock area for romantic portrait shots. In the background, boat slips line one of the Occoquan’s three marinas.
