Bride and groom at colorful wedding

Rustic Citrus Watercolors

Featured Photo Shoots
This fresh, colorful styled shoot comes from photographer Danielle Towle, who recently relocated to Virginia from New Hampshire.  With a bold citrus color palette and some of our favorite vendors, this shoot is a great segue to summer.  Vendors include a bridal shop that donates all of its proceeds to a parish in Haiti, NoVa’s favorite orange photobus, handcrafted jewelry, a horsetrailer bar, and more.

These invitations from Doolittle Wedding and florals from Petals-n-Blooms set the stage for “rustic citrus watercolors.”

The handcrafted jewelry was provided by Hunt Country Jewelers in Purcellville.

A cute wedding program that does double duty – it can be used as a fan.

The Oak Barn at Loyalty features 21 scenic acres and an Amish-built barn that can seat up to 200.

Fun Fact: The models for this shoot are a real couple and are actually engaged.

The dress was provided Brides for Haiti, which donates all of its proceeds to support an impoverished community in Haiti. The dress shop is a fundraising effort by parishioners of St. Mary’s parish in Barnesville, Md. to aid their twin parish in Carcasse, Haiti.

The flower wall and neon sign were provided by Lucy Blossoms. For more great design, check out our Lucy Blossoms feature coming up in June!

We love a good horsetrailer bar! This one from Bartique is decked out in gold trim for a luxe look.

Personalized acrylic signs from Blissful Design and Decor adorn the bar table from Bartique.

How could there be a citrus-themed shoot without NoVa’s chicest orange bus? Marigold has been featured previously on NoVa Wedding Style – click the link to see more of her.

Picnic and Peonies paired woven chargers with orange runners and napkins for a “rustic citrus” look.

Blissful Design and Decor debuted their new acrylic signage collection for this shoot. Signage, including tablenumbers, seating charts, place cards, and even large signs and arches, can be customized for any color palette or aesthetic.

Maudie Cakes provided a citrus-themed cake.

This chic ensemble consists of florals from Petal N’ Bloom, a cute pop of balloon from Popnotch, and a 6.5′ wooden arch, custom sign, and seating chart from Blissful Design and Decor (calligraphy by Doolittle Wedding).
