Emmie and Andrew’s sunny, garden-themed wedding took place in September 2023 at scenic Walker’s Overlook in Walkersville, MD. Their aesthetic was fresh and nature-inspired, with bespoke details such as honeypot wedding favors, vintage baby photos, lawn games, and a visit from the Glazey Days donut truck.
Wildflower-inspired florals were provided by Blossom and Basket.
Walker’s Overlook is known for it’s abundance of magical scenery, especially the large, gnarled Walnut tree, and pastoral views of rural Maryland.
This magnificent tree is a favorite spot for portraits.
Another special spot at Walker’s Overlook is the romantic tree swing.
Wedding receptions at Walker’s Overlook are typically held in a spacious tent behind the mansion, complete with hardwood floors and a scenic view. Tables and chairs for up to 275 wedding guests are provided by the venue.
Vintage photos on the guest tables were an especially fun touch.
Lawn games are always a great addition to cocktail hour!
We love the colorful addition of this fun food truck!
Another favorite spot at this venue is the weathered brick wall, which makes a perfect backdrop for some romantic portraits.
